Natixis Partners advised ICG Infra on the sale of its minority stake in Océinde Communications to Crédit Agricole Assurances.

Océinde Communications (“OCC”) is the sole independent integrated telecommunication player in FTTH, fixed-internet broadband and mobile communication in La Réunion, one of the best connected departments in France. FTTH pioneer in La Reunion, OCC has further expanded its own FTTH proprietary network thanks to the significant investments and supports from both ICG Infra and Océinde Group, enabling the population of La Réunion to benefit from 94% coverage. In 2019, the company also launched its own Mobile infrastructure and retail activity through its Zeop brand, providing critical speed, quality of service and coverage for the local economy. Finally, the company has commissioned in 2024 the 1st and sole tier-3 datacenter in La Reunion. Through this partnership, Crédit Agricole Assurances is committed to supporting the company in its new growth phase, alongside the Goulamaly family and OCC management. The company’s plan for growth notably include enhancing fiber activity with new technologies, continuing the expansion of the company’s mobile network and retail activities, as well as broadening the Zeop brand’s presence across the island.
