Sodero Gestion and Bpifrance acquire the majority of Mecapack alongside its current CEO Nicolas Ducept and his management team.

With a turnover of more than € 30 million and a know-how of nearly 70 years, Mecapack designs, manufactures and distributes tray sealing and thermoforming machines for the food industry, catering, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. The company, based in Pouzauges (Vendée), recorded a strong development since the arrival in 2014 of its CEO Nicolas Ducept and a new management team. Mecapack is recognized for the quality and performance of its tailor-made packaging solutions and the proximity with its customers. The company also offers a wide range of after-sales services. Innovation is at the heart of its strategy, particularly to meet the environmental challenges faced by its customers. The family group Proplast has decided to enable Mecapack's independence as part of its own strategic refocusing on food packaging and reusable cup businesses, which are experiencing strong growth in Europe.
