Groupe Chevrillon enters the capital of DCW Editions

DCW Editions, a French editor of iconic luminaires welcomes Groupe Chevrilon within its capital with the aim to support the development strategy involving the strengthening of its sales team in France and abroad and the launch of new collections. Frederic Winkler retains its current functions, supported by the management team that enters the capital on this occasion. Philippe Cazer will hand over the baton after a transitional period. DCW Editions wishes to continue its growth momentum while preserving its identity “Honest, well thought, well designed, well manufactured products, at the right price”. Founded in 2008 by Frederic Winkler and Philippe Cazer, DCW Editions is today a recognized player in the lighting edition industry. The company is profitable and has experienced a solid growth over the last years (+30% p.a. on average). In a market dominated by Italian players such as Flos or Artemide, the fledgling company has built in less than a decade a strong reputation with timeless pieces appreciated by both professionals (architects and interior designers) and a well-informed audience. DCW Editions’ strength lies in its ability to give rise or to revive luminaires, and project them in the future (Lampe Gras, Mantis, Here Comes The Sun, Biny, etc.) but also to set up partnerships with talented authors (Dominique Perrault & Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, Ilia Potemine, Eric de Dormael, Bertrand Balas, etc.). The company currently employs more than thirty people while two-thirds of its turnover are achieved out of France.
