July 5th, 2019 Natixis Partners has advised Keolis in its acquisition of CarPostal France from la Poste Suisse

Founded in 2004, CarPostal France is specialised in urban and intercity transport primarily designed for mid-sized communities and rural areas. It currently operates 7 urban transport networks (Agde, Bourg-en-Bresse, Dole, Haguenau, Salon de Provence, Sète and Villefranche sur Saône) and 8 intercity networks in the East of France (Isère, Loire and Hérault).

CarPostal France offers urban and intercity transport solutions, as well as school, occasional and innovative transport services (carpooling and smart shuttles).

CarPostal France employs more than 1,250 people and is supported by its headquarters located in Saint Priest, near Lyon. In 2018, the company recorded revenues of approximately 100 million euros.

The acquisition of CarPostal France, one of the main independent players in France, is of strong strategic interest for Keolis. It allows the Group to strengthen its position as the French leader in passenger transport and broaden its geographical footprint in the Rhônes-Alpes region, more particularly in Isère.

The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant anti-trust authority.
